Seahorse Advisors is a premiere sushi destination. A speakeasy nestled inside of a member’s club, Seahorse touts the best cuts of fish, paired with seasonal accoutrement thought up by some of the best sushi chefs in the country.
At the helm, Chef Chris, sports a dry sense of humor, rooted deeply in cultural references, puns, and quick-wittedness. His vision for Seahorse Advisors is a restaurant and Omakase table experience steeped in cultural reverence, authenticity, and over the top absurdity that turns fine dining into a celebration of food.

The outer facade of Seahorse Advisors could be easily missed if you aren’t keeping an eye out. Designed to appear like the outside of a nondescript financial firm, the restaurant has an austere appearance, until you step inside. Upon entry into the speakeasy, members are transported, by way of a Nightingale floor, to a dark and moody sushi club. Once inside, touches of Japan and relevant cultural references can be found from wall-to-wall.
Creating the Seahorse Advisors brand was no small task. The restaurant’s minimal exterior is juxtaposed to its over-the-top interior. The restaurant is a combination of two things, and we wanted to carry this concept through the brand.
English layered over Japanese characters. A seahorse who’s tail is a katana sword. A conch shell with Japanese native flowers spilling from its opening. This brand is layered with unexpected elements, just like the restaurant itself.
To match the sheer uniqueness of the Seahorse Advisors concept, we created a brand that is just as awesome as the space while being functional across many mediums. This massive brand includes
